Recently John Goodman of the Independent Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan, scholarly research and educational organization, stumbled upon some interesting findings when surveying fast food franchises. Unfortunatley low income workers are not adopting bronze plans to the extent the architects of the ACA had hoped. And they are doing so with good reason. With lower hours, less income, no HSAs, more tax pentalties, and less choice the decision to not choose a bronze plan for this income bracket makes sense for those making the decision.
